My name is Michael McGraw. I am a student at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA, which was founded in 1693 by King William III and Queen Mary II of England offering then time rising generations ample opportunities to acquire an education. Today this college is among the oldest institutions of higher education in the United States of America and ranks America's TOP Colleges: State Schools (Forbes (2015)). My website was designed to share my personal experience of studying at the History Department faculty with prospective university students majoring in History to suggest an idea for institution after graduation. William & Mary college differs from other colleges and universities first and foremost by its historical significance and learning performance. I have chosen studying at this association since it enables a lot of programs including thirty programs abroad in more than twenty countries and I do believe that such programs are necessary for a student who studies history to be capable of visiting famous historical places. I am studying at the Department of History. I am very much into History of England, in particular, in a period of 1650 -1702 which is a time of King William and Mary’s Ruling. The Institution owns great Catalogs Archive which contains a treasure trove of valuable information on monarchs which was crucial in my decision to send an application to the college. My present academic research covers a wide spectrum of Tudor’s dynasty period ranging from biography facts about Henry VIII and his wives that have never been revealed publicity before to culture, traditions, art, architecture, music and food popular in the 16th century. All the relevant material can be found in archived catalogs. Luckily Swem Library managed to present digitizing 1829- present catalogs so we, students, have an access to accurate and authoritative information at any time.
